Brothers in Army
By Fidel

It’s me back again, listen to my story
My mom just passed away
She left three kids behind her back
We don’t even know what to do
We’re getting in trouble
We’re stealing things
My brother Newcharlie just got out of jail
He don’t even know what to do
He just wanted to join a gang

Chorus (2X)
Ooh daddy, Ooh mommy (2X)
Come back to me
I want to see your faces again

Life is not fair
My brother Ty’ree is everything
since mom died, he has a hard time
Newcharlie is going crazy woohh (x2)
he doesn’t even care about his own brothers
Ty’ree can’t go to school because of us
He has to go to work
He pays the bills, he buys us food, he does everything
No matter what we’ve been through
No matter what we see
Something will change soon
We won’t forget to pray

Chorus 2x

Ty’ree
By Enock, Tresor

(Chorus)
Oh, we, oh.  Ty’ree, Ty’ree, Ty’ree (x2)

I’ve had a hard time to raise my young brother - Chorus
I work hard to keep ‘em from trouble - Chorus
I’m a legal guardian of my young brothers - Chorus (2X)

Ah, Ty’ree that’s my name
I’m the old brother of my two young brothers
I’m as a parent for them
I take authority over them
I work hard to keep them from trouble
I’m supposed to do all their needs
But not enough money for everything
It’s so sad at all really, really it’s so sad at all
We live within a lot of pain for all our lives - Chorus (2X)

I’ve had a hard time to raise my young brother - Chorus
I work hard to keep ‘em from trouble - Chorus
I’m a legal guardian of my young brothers - Chorus (2X)

People I wanna tell you something
Nothing on the Earth is easy
We are only three brothers
left from a family of five people
Both of our parents are dead
The little Lafayette has got a big grief from it
and Charlie has become a bad boy
Doesn’t care about us, nor follow rules

He ‘s still in trouble everyday
Ty’ree, I try to change his bad behaviors
but he doesn’t care about anything
Doesn’t even worry about himself
I have got tired of it
And I want no trouble in our house
That’s how we live and that’s where we get pain from - Chorus (2X)

I’ve had a hard time to raise my young brother - Chorus
I work hard to keep ‘em from trouble - Chorus
I’m a legal guardian of my young brothers - Chorus (2X)

Charlie
By Crystal, Canset, Eucaris and Thalia

(Chorus)
What do you think?  How do you think Charlie is?  Charlie is bad, he’s a troublemaker, troublemaker, troublemaker, troublemaker.

Irrespetuoso y sus hermanos lo sacaban de problema
y es por eso que su madre se preocupaba.

repeat chorus

Charlie, Charlie, Charlie, Charlie

Charlie used to pray for all the stray animals
but when he came back from paying his time
he didn’t even care if his brothers died ah, ah

repeat chorus

Lafayette E-E-E!
By Jose, Yolanda, Wilmarie

E-e-e Lafayette
I feel sad
tired and depressed
my parents died when I was young
and now I’m a baby son

(Chorus)
Lafayette e-e-e
Lafayette e-e-e
I live in the ghetto
in Spanish Palacero….

My brother went to jail
and my childhood had failed
my brother, my brother, my brother Ty’ree
is gonna, is gonna, is gonna save me

repeat chorus

Our Boy Lafayette
By Kelvin, Kimberly, Nyliam and Carlos

(Chorus)
Lafayette, ahuh, ahuh
yeah, yeah

Yo, is Lafayette in the house
I’m young but not loud
I live in New York
Where things could go wrong
New York is not easy
Cuz there’s gangs all around the block, yeah, yeah, yeah
Cuz if you don’t know
now you know
They sometimes call me Laf
and I don’t get mad
I’m the youngest of three brothers
We sadly lost our mother
Cuz if you don’t know

now you know, Ninja

Mom and Dad
By Emiliano, Baidy

Mom where are you
you’re the one, you are the thing
there will be no other mother
that will make us be kind
she was sleeping
she didn’t wake up
everyone will remember her singing the
Me and Bobby Ma’gee song

Mommy you’re the best  (4X)

Daddy where are you
my dad always was there for us
he was a hero
he saved a lady and her dog
but sadly he died in front of his son

Dad you’re the best  (4X)

What are the brothers
supposed to do now
when their parents left their boys behind
